Capability for a changing world of work.

My current work connects practical AI literacy, occupational foundations and workforce transition. The question is how people learn to use emerging tools with judgement, and how that learning connects to real tasks, employers and opportunities.

For a small business, that might mean understanding where a tool is useful and where a person needs to check its output. For someone entering work, it means learning technology alongside the knowledge, routines and responsibilities of an occupation.

These are independent proposals under development, not adopted government policy.

Practical Hope began with a concern about youth disengagement and the gap between visible industries and reachable opportunities. I presented that work as a motion at a local policy conference and explored the implementation questions in public essays.

The current direction builds on that foundation through occupational capability and practical AI skills. Earlier writing remains available as the history of the work; the current proposals continue to develop.
