Local discovery connects people to places and to the small businesses behind them. Many independent food trucks, family counters and suburban kitchens are hard to find online. Brisbane Food Guide helps people choose where to eat and understand the food, neighbourhood and people behind each business.
My contribution
I founded and own the platform, and I built it using AI-assisted development: the website, restaurant profiles, interactive map, content workflows and search visibility. I also do the editorial work, including first-hand founder conversations with local business owners.
What exists
A live website at brisbanefoodguide.com.au. Visitors can search more than 100 restaurants by cuisine, suburb, occasion and price, explore them on a map, and read founder stories about businesses such as The Cairo Eatery, Ozi Yiros, Solo Italiano, Kuzine Turkish Street Food, Vanilla Bar and Punjabi Bytes. It also includes street and collection guides, such as James Street and hidden gems.
