To understand change,
I wanted to start closer.
The questions began in my books: how we live with ourselves and with each other. Civic work made me want to understand change from the ground up. Through food, I found a way to listen.

Who gets
a chance?
I am interested in the distance between an opportunity being announced and someone being able to reach it.
My background spans trades, training, business development and marketing, including digital marketing. Stakeholder engagement runs through that work: listening, building relationships and understanding what people need.
That is what I bring to political participation and to Practical Hope and Next-Gen Trades: listening, developing ideas and testing what they would mean in everyday life.

There's a person
behind every meal.
I founded Brisbane Food Guide because I wanted to know who was behind the counter, what brought them here, and what it took to begin.
A food truck or family-run takeaway deserves the same care in storytelling as a restaurant with a PR team. There is room for all of them in the city I want the guide to reflect.
I meet owners, interview, photograph and edit. AI helps me build and organise the work. The reason for it is human: knowing a little of someone's story can change a meal.
