Young people can be close to growing industries without seeing a practical way into them. This work asks how occupational learning and emerging technology can connect to reachable training and employment pathways.
My contribution
I developed and presented a Practical Hope motion at a local policy conference. I am continuing to test the implementation questions through policy discussion and stakeholder conversations.
What exists
A presented motion, published essays and an evolving proposal. Practical Hope records the earlier emphasis on visible pathways; Next-Gen Trades develops the connection between occupational foundations and technology capability.
